OK, my last post was huge, that's probably why nobody really answered it, so:

1. recommend a receiver that's compatible with my JR XR3

2. is 60wt oil from Team Associated different from 60wt oil from Losi? (my LHS doesn't have the losi oil and I wanna start building the shocks today)

Thanks

The stock replacement reciver will work fine, as well as the jr synthesisized one for that band. You could also use a novak syn. xrta, or a jr specific xxl.

60wt will vary ever so slightly, but very few can actually tell the difference. For intensive purpose, ae, losi, trinity 60 should all feel about the same.

Sorry Lee,

Kathy tried to wake me at 5 but I was kind of tired after Saturday. We'll make it next time, I promise.

the CAR ROCKS!!!!!!

1st off Hodge gave (yeah gave) us some of the revised (1st run-prototype) rear hubs to try out and there are PERFECT!!!!

2nd Mr. Hogimoto ALSO gave us some of the (soon to be released, yes VERY SOON) spool/diff pads to make the front diff a "spool" (AWESOME AS WELL)

and lastly, it was nice see Jr. and "POPS" out at the track touchin' base with the racers who actually run the car...."Hey guys, how's the car, we at Team Losi appologize for the inconvienience of the rear hubs, but we thank you for supporting our products and we will do our best to resolve the situation ASAP...." (to my recolection, these were Jr's. exact words to me and several racers)

anyways, I don't want this to sound like I'm a politician, but I do want to give props to a great team of individuals who stand behind their product.......

the car kicks ass!!!!!

oh yeah, the stock set up is dialed!!!!(but I wonder where they based the set-up from) hehehehehe

thanks again Hodge.......
Thanks we always do our best we can!!

Congrats to Kinwald and J. Filipow for the dominating performance with the JRXS.

OH YEA....BARRY RAN SOREX TIRES IN THE A-MAIN AND STILL GOT BEAT!! However Barry did run RP30's in qualifying and that is why he was 7 seconds off the TQ. Sorex tires do have more corner speed at 4 Fun! With some Sorex tires in qualifying I am sure he would of only been 1 or 2 seconds off TQ....

Default Statistical improvements

4 out of the 9 cars that started the Trinity/Jackson-RC trophy race in NJ this past Sunday were JRXS's. The JRXS that won the event happened to be piloted by a three time world champion, but that's beside the point. All the JRXS's were making big grip in the main which went off at night after the rain delays, while the rest of the racing took place early on in the heat of the daytime. IMHO, a testimate to the short arm design. (the track is open and flowing, so the quick transitioning capabilities probably don't matter)

For the people talking about making a front spool, I'm using xxx-s spool pads in the front and its working great. Best $2 I've spent on my car in terms of lowering my laptimes. The car felt much much more consistent. During practice, a good lap for me was around a 13.4. I switched to a spool before my first qualifier and got some of my laps down into the mid/high 12's.
Anybody here run at Revelation? I'm gonna try to make the JBRL race there next month and need some setup ideas

Default PRS Gear update

Hey Guys there was a problem with the alumn screws for the gear and adapter...They were to long. The new ones should be there today or tomorrow and I will have the adapters in stock by the end of the week. They come in red or silver and come with a PRS 128 spur and can be used with the lock pulley or one way pulley. 19.95. There are a few Losi drivers that prototyped the adapter in Delrin and as far as I know there were no problems at all with em.

Thanks
