Default Overdrive/Underdrive

Has anyone tried the overdrive or underdrive pulleys yet?

I saw on Kinwalds setup for so-cal he was using overdrive. Does this really help with the steering?

On the XXX-S the 41 in the front would really make the car steer like crazy. We use to use it on spools. I would think it should react the same on the new car.

Later,

Crash: Yes. A lot of the Losi drivers are getting ready for the Reedy Race, where one ways are not allowed; getting a spool to work is the next best thing and many are using the 41T pulley with the spool.

pookyt and others

I forgot to say I am running a spool (for the reedy race) and I am also went to the 41 pulley, yes this gave me more steering exiting the corner.

Default Springs

What are you all recommending for springs on outdoor asphalt? What are the different weights we should purchase?

Yeppers! I have them on my ride.

I built up a spool last night with notched diff rings and the 41 tooth pulley so I will see what its like this Sat.

Later,
It helps a lot with offpower and onpower steering. I run it with my spool setup all the time. You may experience that the car wanders a little bit however the cornerspeed makes up for it.

Todd, have you tried any set ups without the chassis braces in back? I'm wondering if that might be the way to go on some of the rougher outdoor tracks, none, or only two, etc.?.......I'm wondering after seeing some of the TC4 guys cutting thier chassis braces trying to get thier cars to work here? Since my car has been so good, it might get better?...........Jim

Hodgimoto!!--I have to give you guys some props on some of the small issues with the JRXS that I keep forgetting to mention.

1st.--The axle threads now are long enough that I can tighten the ESN nuts tight!! BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd.--Obviously the tweak screw setup rocks!!!!! YIPPY!!!!!!

3rd.--LCD's are amazing!!! Lock to Lock+ 0 vibrations!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!

4th.-- Antenna mount! I know its a small detail but I didn't have to drill a tiny hole to hold the tube like I'm used to! RIGHT ON!!!!!!

5th.--" McMaster" type thrust bearing!!! Its about time!!!!! YOU GO BOY!!!!

6th.--I have to admit I was worried bout the shocks but, they were a piece O cake and smooth as BUTTER!!!! SWEET!!!!!

7th.--Front bumper design rulez!!! Last year I believe I was the central U.S. warehouse for XXXS bumpers!! I still have 5 rear bumpers if anybody needs one!

8th.--Skoda 2 looks good and handles great!! And the FIRST time in my 16 yr Losi history do the window masks actually fit the windows!!!!!!! YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

9th.--Extremely free drivetrain!!! NUFF SAID!!!!!

10th.--And final. I was shocked and amazed that the standard white gooey grease was not present in my brand new stock bearings!!!!! I almost climaxed when I popped off the sheilds and saw no thick azz grease!!!!! HIP-HIP HORRAY!!!!!!!

I was amazed at the small details you guys remembered that were pains in the butt for us with the G+ and fixed them all! Take a bow gents!! You earned it!!! And YES----It WAS Worth the Wait!!!! Sorry Darkseid

Hey! But why is the motor plate black and the rest of the aluminum is Grey/Green? Just had to ask. Later

I'm happy with everything so far other then the rear toe issue. I guess I just got one of the unlucky kits.
