I only use the bars to hold mine together and never had a problem<and you know how I drive! And I also don't like using the extra heat shrink, just figure thats one more thing to retain heat.

Well, both my IB3600s and my GP3300s fit perfect, no modifying and I always use shrink wrap and shoe goo..Like RBLove said...wait until the pack is built and then apply a small amount of Shoe goo between the cells, then I put my pack back in the Deans battery tray and the Shoe goo adds "0" length the pack. I also use either Trinity or Promatch (which may be Trinity) shrink wrap, its very thin.

I don't plan on running carpet anytime soon so I took the rear upper deck and removed the "arms" for the 4 braces and it really streamlines the car. i also took a little more time re-wiring and figuring out how to clean the cars appearence up...looks awesome now!

It seems that the rear battery slot will make or break it when it comes to batteries fitting. My first attempt failed but once I did a little more, all my batteries fit just fine. The only modification I had to do was rotating my positive and negative battery bars inward to clear the top deck.
