...the Futaba S9550 fits without hitting the belt. Then again, it's also used as an aleron servo for planes, so it'd fit just about anywhere.

The graphite reinforced plastic on this car feels like metal! Threads like it too.

Ditto on filing a channel under the belt for clearance when running the diff in the low position. For battery fitment, barely had to square the corners off the rear slot.

The clearance for the "pins" used throughout the car are amazingly well machined. With tolerances this good, who needs bolts and screws? I removed the bolts that hold the front topdeck in place, but almost couldn't get the topdeck off. That's how tight the tolerances are!

Got mine at noon today......All the other necessary and replacement parts (per Todd) except the one-way came too. Thanks to RC Tech of Daly City. They still had a couple left when I departed.

Will start finishing the edges tonight and continue this weekend. Supposed to rain anyway.

Well my car has two battery packs thru it on the track, do I win a prize? With Rob Loves setup he posted a few pages back it drove really well. It has soooo much steering. It is really free and accelerates fast. I switched from xray and have to say they feel very similar. This weekend I will run more and sort it out.
Yall get to work and get them cars built.

Nice Jim. Check out the Losi site. Look at the set up for Todd/Cleveland. Try that with 1 degree rear hubs....... I ran that in modified last weekend and it was REALLY good...

Forgot one thing. Go to a 50lb front spring instead of the 60.. DIALED...

Forgot one other thing... Overdrive pulley. Run the smaller pulley up front. Seems to provide more steering.

That stinks! I got mine all together. Just have to put electronics in it today.

The car went together very nicely, no slop at all (unlike some other car I have ) very free drivetrain for a dual belt car right out of the box. Awesome new shocks. Just wish they would do away with the set screws for the outer hinge pins. But at least they included the e-clips and notches in the pins.

Can't wait to run it on the rug tomorrow.

Later,
