Glad to see you have a good sense of humor!! I know you have been getting alot of slack here, but I can say I really do appreciate all the info you have given us and look forward to the setup help once the car does arrive. I saw it in action at the carpet nats and it truely looks awesome.

Seriously, whats going on?

How is it that other car companies can have a car ripped out before we even know about it, yet this car was announced in like september.

I can appreciate the attention to detail, and that TL wants to put out a prime product.. but what has really been changed since I first held one? I see a different top deck and some axles..

I cant immagine how many people gave up because of the delays.... and bought somthing else. I mean, i was so in to this car.. and eventually, I just gave up. Im sure ill have one some day, as will others.. but the initial buzz sale has definately been affect.. i know of 8 people who went other routes... thats just back in B-LOW..

I write this with all due respect- T DITTY

Because at least one company isn't making a 415?

pretty much. the jrxs seems totally new for losi. If you look at say... the XRAY FK05 it uses the same suspension as the 04, so they know that works. So id imagine that cuts a big deal of testing out of the process. If you look at past cars that took a big step from their previous models, they took a while to come out

IE: HPI Pro3 -> Pro4

but the jrxs is pro3 remake so wtf is it taking so long to remake it
(he said knowingly)

(nudge, nudge, wink wink, say no more)

Bringin this over from Hodgimoto string for all to see. Todd provided input on my quiry about JRX-S parts for stock motor on asphalt setups. And I included the respective part numbers per that input.

Springs - Good selection?
The car comes with 12.5 rear and 35lb front. For asphalt/carpet I would get 15-20lb for the rear. For the front I would get. 42-60lb. That should have you covered well.
* 15# LOSA5349
* 17.5# LOSA5350
* 20# LOSA5354
* 42.5# LOSA5355
* 50# LOSA5356
* 60# LOSA5357

Pistons - Good selection?
So far I have only liked the stock pistons in my setups.
* Sticking with that recommendation

Pivot mounts - Do I need all the different configurations?
I would recommend just getting a extra 1 and 2 degree pivot.
* Aluminum +2 degree LOSA9685 (neg 2 is LOSA9681) REVISED
* Aluminum +1 degree LOSA9684 (neg 1 is LOSA9682) REVISED

Sway bar -
Two sets of bars will give you two of .030, .040, .050, and .060.
* F or R swaybars LOSA4252 (times 2)

Shock oil -
40wt-60wt
* Understood

Front spindles and carriers -
Good selection? 2-6 degrees
* 2 degrees LOSA9755
* 4 degrees LOSA9757 (standard)
* 6 degrees LOSA9758

One-way - For what circumstances on asphalt?
A oneway will be great on larger flowing tracks where brakes are not needed.
* Understood

Man, one things for sure, if the people here didn't have the "oh, all those other cars are alike" comment to go with, they'd be hard pressed to defend the delay.

Cause last I checked, that was THE only thing anybody EVER says when someone comes and ask "whats going on" or "why is it taking so long"...

No offense, but I find it kinda odd that even futureal, who just asked us all to stop knocking Losi, has also joined in on taking shots at the other companies cars.

I'm not blind, I can see its all in good fun, I just find it well....hipocritical to see how people here get utterly fired up anytime someone dares question Losi, but again, its okay to knock other companies cars...

But don't let me stop anybody....its better than hearing people keep saying "be patient".
