Hey hodge hows it goin. Quick question. Which upper chassis brace should I use for asphalt. Should i put the one with the 4 braces or the on without. Or could i put the one with the braces but just take the posts off. Will having the one without the posts make the chassis flex more and will it make it easier for the chassis to get tweaked.

Thanks

On a positive note all the Losi drivers at the Nats were running production cars with some hop ups with the exception of Gil who ran a bone stock JRXS (no hop ups) and Brian Kinwald still ran his prototype one because he has not built a kit one yet. Francis, Hogde, Easton, Losi and Flack raced production cars though.
What hop ups were the team drivers running on the production cars?

My car was bone stock except the Rubberneck Bumper.

Yes Chicky! Job well done brutha. You deserve a BIG CONGRATS on your performance.

My car was much better than I was. I could not get into a groove at the track to save my life. One thing is for sure the new car is SIMPLY DIALED...........

I don't see why he can't...

They're just not going to talk about anything involving ship info...

Maybe after we all have them, they'll tell us when the kits have shipped...

Unless they offer it as a hop up, I don't think the upper brace without the 4 braces is even availible. The pic that Bill took of the production kit had some extra parts in the pic. Including the original upper deck.

All reports say that we will only get the new upper deck. And also we've been told that we can just run the upper deck without the 4 standoffs for asphault.

Personally, I hope they do offer the original upper deck, cause 99% of my running will be on asphault, and I'd rather not have the standoffs or the 4 tabs sticking out there when I'm not using them...

But I guess theres always the option of dremeling them off...

At this point, I'm looking for solid evidence. There are only really two things I will trust at this point...

-an updated website with modern pics and info about the car...

and

-an "official" announcement from Losi or Horizon saying something has happened.

No offence to any of the people who get to talk to these people on a regular basis, but we've been going on 'word of mouth' for far too long and gotten our hopes up too many times.

For me, my motto is now, I'll believe it when I see it on Losi's site, on Horizon's site, or best of all, in my hands.
