It seems to be very light too, the way they designed the plastic bulkhead only using molded parts is interesting.

The car on the picture doesn't really look like a pre-production car, is it sure the chassis won't be molded?

Somebody's gonna sleep with the fishes. I hope who ever took these pics is going under the witness protection program. LOL
Now that it's out Losi should show somethin' soon on their website.

Im sorry but Im gonna have to disagree with you on this one man. I just took a look at pictures of both the Pro3 and the "JRXS" (or whatever it is going to be called when it hits the shelves) and I do not see them as being similar. I think Losi really did their homework for this car. If I wasnt so hardcore for AE Id get this car!

Definitely unique. It looks like it's gonna use blade type swaybars.

looks like there is room on the top deck for electronics. As much as I like my xxxsg+, I like the idea of the woven carbon fiber chassis. Hopefully it will be released before the holidays.

I'm guessing the electronics would on either side of the battery. It looks like there is room, but I'm not sure I'd want my receiver wires routed around those open belts.

Let's also not forget folks, that this is the exact same thing we saw before the XXX-S came out. We saw a prototype with graphite plates, machined blukheads, etc, but when the sedan was released, it was all molded plastic.
It looks like they've already moled some parts, like the front and rear diff supports, but I'm not holding my breath for a plate chassis from Losi until I see production pics of it.

Sign me up! If you look at the other pictures you can see that the battery holder is made out of plastic. I bet it opens from the bottom or something like that. This car is pretty unique, I cant wait !

I heard they are changing the shocks. I hope they are easy to work on like the ones are now.

I'm curious as to how fragile the car's chassis will be and also how tweak free. The G+ is awesome when it came to durability and being tweak free. Kind of makes me wonder if the diffs/drivetrain are going to be open or not, for that one reason. I'm almost suspecting not. The HPI Pro4 and some of the other open cars (Yok SD SSG, Rayspeed, lesser on the Xray) I have seen the tweak problem they are all succeptible to. The original XXX-S prortotype was kind of like that too and Losi used the molded chassis in the end.

Hmm new shocks...anybody notice the ballstuds as the bottom shock mounting hardware? As for electrics looks like the speedo will go on motor endbell side of the car and reciever on other side where the plastic antenna holder is. Mounting everything on the top deck will just make for a higher cg...a no-no.

Guys the car is very unique and I think that Losi put alot of time and effort into this car to see it up close you would't believe how awesome it is.Put it to you this way they did their homework.I believe it is the tourer to beat this year

It is like the Pro-3 because the diffs are offset way out to the sides, the arms are short, and the CVD's are also short. It is this very feature that caused the Pro-3 to have worse torque steer than any shaft drive car. About the only difference is the location of the motor/battery. HPI's was a rear motor car and Losi's is a mid motor car.

Man I looked at the new Losi on friday as a team guy showed it to me but I would have never posted pics like that. That was cold to do that and might cause some trouble. I know guys will get pics as they are running them but this might hurt that team driver some.
