One of the biggest challenges of new car is getting the right tuning options and spares. Does anyone have a parts list they can share? Nothing I hate more than buying a new kit and breaking the one part you didint know could break and no spares to be found lol

As I recall when the RDX came out-the parts list was available ahead of time so it was easy to put in a first order.

So where do you do most of your racing at. Indoor asphalt, Indoor carpet, Permanent asphalt? I know many of the best tracks are out you guys way.
I do 75% of my racing at SoCal, indoor asphault, and actually we do get crouds watching every now and then, it's pretty fun. I wish I could race on carpet more often, but I've only done it twice, mod with foams up at Stockton Raceway for a couple of their ROAR regional races.

I've nearly given up on going to them for anything. but motor spray.. lol.

Lets hope they stock more spares for the JRX-S than they have on hand for the XXX-S...

Mike
But they do have about 50 spare chassis' for a Yokomo car made 17 years ago lol

They really dont have all the spares they need, but aftermarket stuff... theres no other place to go.

OK-I know for sure us carpet guys are gonna need the stiff front springs, front sway bars (maybe rears too) and arms (2x4 tracks can be brutal).

How are the hingepins and the graphite hingepin blocks holding up so far?

Any other must order parts you Team guys can share with us mere team salary paying customers?

Greg Sharpe-Sorry, I work from home, so I have time. Between chasing the kiddies around that is. vtl1180ny's point struck a cord with me though. So I should be posting less stuff here that will hurt anybody's feelings. Get a hobby...man, I got TOO many hobbies...

rayhuang-Unless something has changed in the last week or so, theres no parts sheet to look at. T. Hodge mention a little while back that they were still finishing up giving some parts part #.

This also doesn't look good for having parts at the shop when the car arrives. Shops can't order if they don't have part #.

Like I said though, a week or so has passed since then so they may be all done with it now. Especially since all they have to do is give the parts part #, then fax the stuff to shops.

I can't believe that they want to send the kits to shops without parts support,(they don't want a HPI Pro4 situation ) so I would guess that they will get the part listing out before the kits.

True that! They have so much stuff on the walls, it's hard to believe they don't have what I need sometimes....

Cool, just got my second order of PRS gears. Now I have a spare 40t if you need one Randy.

rocketron-Well-that figures I guess-hahaha. Kept those Losi pistons (and other XXXS parts) for two years-knew I'd own another Losi someday.

Its probably for the best. You know for every piece of the previous car that a company carries over, theres another person there waiting to say "they didn't change enough"

These days, companies take heat for carrying over anything more than a few screws from kit to kit.

Look at every page on this thread and you'll find your answer over and over. Should be here in the next couple weeks.

Hinge pins and graphite pivot supports have been holding up fine... probably a good idea to have a couple spares though just in case... it's also a good idea to have a couple sets of the pivots so that you can fine tune
