I knew they'd be redesigning a lot with the short arms, but dang, those are some heavy springs lol.

Not that it is a big deal; but, the servo mounts are also the same on the JRX-S. Checking pictures you can see that Matt Francis is using his red aluminum ones (Trinity) on his car.

Keep in mind that spring rate and wheel rate are totally different. A 60 lb front spring on the JRXS feels about like a 25 lb spring on a TC3 at the wheels. It's all in the suspension geometry.

I forgot about the Losi hexes. What did they do with those on the XXX-S, include both theirs and the standard sizes?

I assume they'll be doing that again with this car...

I know how that goes, there is now a lot more leverage because of the short arm, I just hadnt really thought about it until I heard about that 70lb spring lol.

with all respect, the car is not for ne racers....that was not the goal for this car...it is a full on racer....the xxx-s will still be supported for casual, or new racers....and is still a great car(just look at ray d. )...again, not trying to slam anyone,

Default Wire tie downs

Does anyone know where to get the little wire tie downs that stick to the chassis or top brace to keep the wires out out of the way.........? Thanks

When I had Gil,Jr's car in my hand, I compressed the shock when noting how soft the springs were. The wheel rate was even softer. Alarmingly soft! But there may have been some interesting suspension geometry going on (as there were spacers under some of the hingepin carriers) that may have seriously raised the roll center allowing such soft springs.

I was hoping it would, it has the threaded shocks, ti-nitride shafts and hingepins, so we'll hope it just comes fully loaded.

There is a place here in San Diego called industrial liquidators, they have all sorts of industrial supply crap, electronic gidgets and gadgets and they have hold downs like the ones youve seen in the pics. Try to find a place like that local to you and hopefully you'll see em.

I cant remember, but someone in the RC Airplane parts industry made some as well, it could have been DuBro.
