T. Hodge: A while back, someone mention that they thought the front bumper might be a weak point because its not supported from both top and bottom. Have you guys had any problems with it so far?

I know you guys don't hit many things. But considering you guys run 7-8turn motors, when you do hit something, it will certainly test the parts!

Yes, I noticed the change just a second ago.(Cable internet, a couple windows open at once! )

Thanks for the quick response.

PRS is Precision Racing Systems. They can be found at a number of sites. I recommend checking out EAMOTORTSPORTS. Eric carried the entire line. Check out his thread here on RCTECH for his web link....

I actually like Trinity's Zero Gravity pinions. Very true and very quiet. I was bummed to find that I couldn't use them with my Pro4 because they were too long. So I added some Robinson's pinions to my collection.

Hopefully I will be able to return to my Zero Gravity pinions with the Losi.<fingers crossed>

The release date will still be the same execpt no one accounted for the shipping transit time. This could take up to another week. So I would start looking for your JRX-S order in the first week of March. The countdown timer will be adjusted for this, but it is still subject to change. As we get closer to release, Horizon will have an exact date and the timer will reflect that with the words "exact day" under it.

Team Losi pays close.........

Default On the topic of the delay.....

......Gil Jr. expressed oscar-level guilt about the delay. He said, "we had given ourselves two months of extra time last year, from when the car was to be finished and when it would ship out. When that didn't happen, we reassesed the shipdate and gave another safe amount of cushion." I told him it was understandable to have delays and said they were doing good compared to the TC3&4. He didn't buy my comparison.

In other news, check out these JRXS.net threads for more info:

The drivetrain is stupid free! I can't stress this point enough. it was easily the free-est belt drive I have ever laid my hands on, and ties with a brand new Yok SD that was loaded with ceramic bearings and built by Jason Shreffler, for the free-est EVER! I was floored, because frankly, looking at the tension of the belts led me to believe the drivetrain would be tight. NOT SO! It's no wonder the cars were retarted fast on the straight aways at the 'birds.

Thanks for clearing those rumors up. I wish there wasn't such a party line to be played, but that's business. The only thing worse than releasing a car "late" would be releasing one "ontime" with problems. I know what Losi will do!

I just wish they would just say "we've had problems with the flux capicitor and the required 21 gigawatts" or whatever they had to overcome. I'm sure they will one day. Getting sucked up under that Horizon umbrella is probably the reasoning.

Nonetheless, Losi will release a this car. And we will have to start a new thread to talk about our setups. or I guess we'll have to ship over the jrxs.com or .net whatever it is these days!

I can't recall ever being told before a kit is released what gears I'll need! Losi rocks! Hodge, you rock!

Why would another thread be needed just to talk about set ups?

I have not spoken to Eric since he received the PRS line and I am not sure about a set option. Just send him a PM or an email and ask him. He is a super good down to earth racer guy and he understands how much we spend to race these cars. Just look at his prices on his motors. He individually takes each motor apart and does everything possible to improve the motors and then dynos them to make sure its a great product. On the gears, I have heard from MANY racers about how great these are and I have some on order now as well. Good Luck.
