I've never been a big LOSI fan (sorry Hodgimoto ), but this car is definitely swaying my opinion.

This is my 3rd decade in this hobby and I've never owned a Losi.... That may change this year.....

Well he could do what a lot of people have done on this thread...say 'screw it' and move on. He certainly wouldn't be the first. At least he's sticking with it and is still excited. Aint nuthin' wrong with that!

Don't tell me you guys haven't noticed the depleting number of post and interested parties. I'm getting this off bottom page 2. I've seen this thread as low as bottom page 3!!! How often do you see a confirmed new car thread hit PAGE 3 on a regular basis??? Basically ALL the people who said 'well if I have to wait any longer, I'll just go buy xxxxx touring car', have moved on and bought something else. I know some people just say 'screw em, their the ones missing out', but I'll bet Losi would rather have them. I'm not saying Losi wont sell alot of these excellent machines, I'm saying there are a lot of options out there, and people eventually want to drive...not oggle pics.

Many times, when people here have expressed their frustration at the waiting AND lack of info, others have lashed out or had sarcastic comments about it. Not cool...

I say don't blame them. They just want to get their hands on a product that (by all accounts) was supposed to be out by now. I mean "it'll be worth the wait" only stretches so far for some people!

You want to blame someone, blame Losi. They are the ones with the delays. And like any company with delays, they will take a little heat on message boards or whatever and lose a few people. But most people, including me, are patient and will wait, but have only asked for some new info now and then.

-Some new pics on the official site (thanks to Gearhead for giving us some goodies to look at on www.jrxs.net)
-New info about the kit contents
-Some info about what hop ups will be availible at release
-Maybe take a note from Yokomo and release a .pdf of the car manual.
-SOMETHING...to let people know that its at least somewhat close to happening or at least to give them something to do in the mean time.

I thank the Losi Team drivers for telling us what they can. But you also can't blame people for wanting to know a little more. Its a big purchase and people are excited about it.

Since we've been talking about bodies lately. Have those that have seen the cars in person noticed any that fit better than others. I hate having to file down the foam bumper or add strips to the bumper to get popular bodies to fit.

The bumper on this car looks like it will be just about right for the current crop of bodies. I'll be spending most of the time running the Mazda 6, so thats the one I'm most interested in.

I'll just assume the Losi Skoda2 will fit without any modifications!

Default chassis prep

Does any one know how the finished chassis will be? Will there be the usual sanding and glueing edges or will it be finished at the factory?
