Default 5th body post

Besides body flex at mod speeds, the other advantage as previously mentioned is to help prevent the front wheelwells from cracking. Simple as that.

Default Now on to motors......

So what is everyones motor of choise?

I am partical to Fantom and trinity. a Fantom motor has never let me down, but trinity motors, I have to hunt from shop to shop, to find the numbers I like. For stock Race Prep use to be good, but you don't see those around anymore. I recently picked up a quad magnet stock motor, but some tracks don't allow you to run it.

I used to run a 5th body post-ohhh-4 years ago. It Really helped the body form cracking on top of the wheel wells in crashes. if it had a benefit on handling-it didnt matter back then as I crashed all the time.

Come to thnk of it-I think its time to start putting them back on my cars.

This season I think it'll be Orion and Peak for me. Orion Revolution on the mod front and if I run stock, it'll be a Peak Hellfire with a V2 endbell.

Exclamation

I will probably be running stock (Monster) or 19T (Fantom C2) on carpet initially when I get my car. Maybe mod when we move outside for spring/summer. In that case, I'll probably by a low turn arm for my Peak V2. I think someone recommended an 8T for our track (man, I can't believe I'm considering running something that insane ).

Also, for those looking to order the JRX-S, talk to Kraig at KT Hobbies. You'll be glad you did. I know I am. (I'm not a paid spokesperson, just trying to spread the word on good deals )

Good luck to everyone racing this weekend!

Yeah, who you tellin'! I remember when 7T-8T motors were considered drag motors.

I don't know what most of the people here will be running for mod, but I'll stick to around 10x2. Thats fast enough for me.

The Epic Binary II is an awesome stock motor and is ROAR legal. As for modified. Trinity's Cobalt with the new silver brushes is going to be the ticket. Tons of power and looooooong brush life...

Default White ball cups

Who here thinks the kit should come with the white ball cups?

If you have used them in there off-road cars, you will know how much better they are. Please help me plug the white ball cups and maybe they will do it =)

besides, everytime I see pics of the car being tested it's using them, White ball cups please =)

I do. But only if you want the release date to be moved back even further. cause they would have to include those instead of the standard ones. I could care less about white ball cups though.
I just want the car to come out first.

white ball cups, I would love to see in the kit. I will be purchasing them if they don't.

White ball cups all the way!!!

The white ball cups should not set tehrelease date back...white is the natural color. So dying them would take long...I think! LOL

I'm new to Losi, so I don't know the 'quality' difference between their standard ball cups and the white ones. All I know is that white molded parts get dirty and ugly in a hurry.

If there is no difference in quality, I would say they should be black or grey...but not white.

And at this point, ANYTHING that might push the release date back any further shouldn't even be getting discussed!
