As far as I know it has only been raced on carpet; am I right?
The new car was delivered to team drivers during the winter; so, that is why you only hear about carpet racing at this time. That's where the action is. Wait until Spring for outdoor asphalt reports.

The JRX-S transitions through switchback turns really well; so, maybe that is why you are thinking it's a good small track car. For some reason, handling is an important factor to me on small and big tracks.

For now, I'm keeping one of my XXX-S cars for those days when I want an enclosed drivetrain. But, that will probably be replaced by a second JRX-S soon.

Wrong!

They ran the car at the Worlds in Fla. On a BIG asphalt track with GREAT results!

It has been run (and is being run) on a variety of asphalt tracks (with success) here in California...it is just that right now, carpet season is full punch, and that where all the attention is going.

That's not true because Matt Francis was always testing the car out at Speedworld raceway which is fairly open.

Well I put together a couple packs using the idea from FastFreddy. It went pretty well. I put a little grove into the Deans bars I was using at first. But it was definitely easier once I started using some of the generic (hobby shop bargin bin) battery bars. I had plenty of them since replacing them with higher quality Orion battery 'Bonez' a while back. They're thinner, which ment that I didn't need to put a grove in them to get the tubes to sit low. I used small pieces of electrical tape to avoid any possibility of shorting. It all works very well.

The only other thing I will do is (once I get the car) put some electrical tape on the inside surface of the car's upper deck, just to make sure that the positive and negative tubes don't sneak up there in a crash and cause a short.

Other than that, it seems like this will work really well.

Guys I believe someone had the idea before, posted it but you didn't read it... I found that on page 26, just when this whole thing about the connectors started.

Just wanted to let you guys know that we have added the JRXS sedans to the website. We don't have an expected arrival date as of yet. One other thing is don't let the price scare you away, it is the minimum advertised price. There is a difference in advertised price and actuall selling price.

I said it went well..........not quickly!

It still took me some time, especially with a couple rugrats running around pulling on cords, grabbing stuff off the table, and who knows what else!

Nope....nope...nope...I'm afraid you guys will have to experience the 'joys' of pack conversion for yourselves!

Hey, I remember that post now! I guess we all just forgot about it.

Or the more likely reason... we all have such short attention spans that we needed a visual aid (some pics) to go along with the idea!

You know what they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words"...
