The term "torque steer" has nothing to do with the motors effects on the chassis. What it refers to is the phenomenon of a car with driven front wheels to resist steering or deflecting the front wheels from a line parralell to the forward motion of the wheel. In the simplest terms the harder you get on it the more forcefully the front wheels will try to straighten out. I think the term you guys are describing is "torque roll" where the torque applied by acceleration a longitudinally mounted rotational mass(either motor or drive train) cause a lateral roll or twist in the chassis. And I wouldn't worry about the roll since only the top .1% of drivers in the world are able to actually notice the effect of this on an rc car and they're all good enough to overcome/compensate for it!

...like a late christmas present!

Any word on which distributors will receive the most JRXS kits from the first shiments? I'd like to grab one right before Snowbirds if at all possible. Heck, I'd even build one in the days leading up to the race if need be.

Greg_ I would say that if you haven't already Pre-Ordered one..... You prob. need to fast! I know a guy at our local track that tried to pre-order one last week and call about 15 different places only to be told that pre-orders were no longer being take. Because they had more pre-orders than cars they would be getting in 2 to 3 shipments.

When I pre-ordered mine, the 1st day the parts number was out, most places said they were only get a handful of kits in the first shipments.

Good luck!!!

I would think Horizon would have the most kits 1st, but they also prob. have the most pre-orders!

You would think that this close to the supposed release date we would know something more specific, like an actual date.

Yeah-I hate that too. I am so antsy for a new car-I spent my JRXS money on something else-for now. But I will get one-it jut wont be in January as I had planned.

But-also remember-it also sucks when they state a date-then miss it-then restate it-then miss it...... Take however many parts are on that car-and thats how many things could cause a delay. Heck-it could be as simple as 4-40 socket head screws are on back-order or they are all bad or as big as a molded part wont come out of the mold right and needs to be redesigned.

Thats true, ill be happy if they get everything right before they release it, probably the worst thing a company can do for their name is release a car that defects and have a whole bunch of people pissed cuz they cant put their new highly anticipated cars together right away.
