1. Clean the tires and wheels with motor spray/soap water/degreaser to remove the mold release agents on the tires and wheels. Otherwises the CA glue won't stick.
2. Assuming the inserts are donuts and not strips*, seat the inserts into each tire. Work them with your fingers so there aren't any wrinkles. Do Not glue the foam inserts to the tires or wheels.
3. Assemble tires to wheels. Use fat rubber bands around the tires to help the tire seat tight against the wheel. Pull tire away slightly from wheel and apply CA sparingly on the bead of the tire. Reseat back onto wheel. (do this in small sections at a time)
4. When the glue is dry, use your thumb and try to peel back the tire from the wheel all the way around. Reglue any spots that peel back.

*if foam inserts come as strips you need to glue the ends together with rubber cement first then go to step 2.

Tires are glued to the rims & ready to run.
Very simple task to do, don't know why I was so nervous about doing it.

I got Front F1-S(PS-0541), Front F1-M(PS-0543), Front F3-S(PS-0544), Front F3-M(PS-0547), and Rear R3-M(PS-0548).

Thanks for the tips Sydewinder.

Hello! What is the best rubber combination for an indoor asphalt to be used on my F103?

Shimizu (PS-0541 or PS-0544) & PS-0542 has good steering setup. If you need stable setup, try PS-0545 & PS-0543 or PS-0549 & PS-0547.

Also, Ride 24000 & 24001 works good.

PS-0541 (F1-S F103) /PS 0542 (R1-H F103) is as good combo as 0571/0572 is with F104?

I'm a noob with F1 RC cars. I just ordered the Shimizu 0571 and 0572's for my F104 and am super excited. Is there an optimum car weight and or front/rear weight distribution when using these tires? I have a full size 2S hard pack 4000mah pack and a 2200mah which is about half the size and weight.

Thanks for the answer. One last question, Will the Ride Type A tires fit the TRG F103 rims?

I haven't tried, but it's same rubber compounds, so will work pretty close.

It's all about your setup.

If you need more weight on the front, people put lead weight under the front arms.

Ride Type A tires are standard size of F103 rubber tires.

I'm not sure about of TRG rim size. If you can, measure with Tamiya F103 foam rims, if it's same it will fit.

Thanks.

Hi guys,
For those using an F10 on a medium-high grip asphalt track. What would be the best tire choice? Thanks !
