Default WORST esc/motor combo and how slow will it go

well we all see the once a week question "WHATS THE BEST" or "WHATS THE FASTEST" car,motor,esc,battery etc.
thought it was time for whats the worst
either your own setup gone wrong or one you seen
seen a nitro to electric conversion a few months back the motor mount was a piece off alloy looked like it was made from recycled coke cans and put threw a mincer and held in by 2 wood screws

The best (worst) I have ever seen was back in the days of brushed motors and 1700mah batteries. Back then there wasn't the spare capacity for warm-up laps, so you just had to hope everything was okay when the race started.

At Stafford in the UK John Robson had poled the B-Final at a RRCi round, which was a big series so a decent result. Here's what happened with his freshly skimmed and rebuilt motor:
