Tamiya 540-J motor break in questions.

Hello everyone. I am new to the serious competiveness with this hobby. I recently bought a motor master break in machine from MuchMore. I am wanting to start racing in the TCS. The rules state that the motor must be below 17,500 rpm. How do I break in the motor and be sure to follow that guideline. I am familiar with the water break in method and the motor master seems straight forward but I need some step by step directions on how to achieve the 17,500 rpm limit. Thanks for the help.

Honestly, leave 1 maybe 2 motors aside never run. DO NOT TRY AND BUST THEM IN. by time 1 or 2 quals are gone u might be afoul of the rules. the rpm limits are so low now and w/that new brush most of them are coming with your super close from the word go. use ur checker as just that, a checker. lil wiggle of a magnet here or there and u can be in trouble. in rare cases people maybe wrongly labeled as cheaters, however most know that its super low and anything that breaks the barrier is surely not intended. good luck
