The shell and lights are cool but as a whole I would not spend the money.

You can buy an associated Tc4 RTR (a far better chassis, still competitive for club racing) for 240$ at Amainhobbies

That is the same car as the Exceed RC cars...

http://www.nitrorcx.com/51c806-pro-b...nge-24ghz.html

SO maybe you can find parts for it.....plus they are only 169.00 there.

I would go with what these guys suggested, a TC4, TC5, yokomo, or X-ray, used here on the forums would be the best bet.

I would not buy it.

true, looks like cheap china clone. should cost at least $150 less than the asking price.

You will get the same answers as with your other 3 threads about this car : "don't buy". That link Metalsoft provided is similar to the other link that I gave you before (on your other thread) except the one I posted - the car already comes with LEDs.

If it's the Lexus body that you're after check here: http://www.r2hobbies.com/eng/proddet...=rcvp334310074

You can make most 190mm bodies fit on a 190mm chassis. Those madspeed cars are 190mm in width. HPI has some really cool 190mm bodies and drift accessories: http://www.hpiracing.com/drift/

Painting a clear shell and installing LEDs to it is not all that hard. It might seem daunting @ first, but it's actually fun. I would look @ parts availability as a factor in your purchase. When I first started out, I broke alot of parts. Not being able to run is no fun - so being able to find replacement parts is key. If you don't want to go through painting, etc - here's an alternative for $209 :http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...10-Camaro-Body

Ive actually owned one, same EXACT kit, different brand
Its sold under at least 5 differnet brands.
Not junk, but is a toy. Think TT01
Mine was pretty well spec'ed, oil shocks, full bearing kit, metal centreshaft & dogbones: things that TT01 doesnt have in the kit.
But suspension had too much travel & far too soft. Esc unreliable crap.
Diff gears known to break really easily
