It depends on how it all goes through... you should call them...get a return number and all that jazz...the first time I sent it in I sent it in my own box...the second time they sent their own box.... after they get it it should only take a week or so for them to get another one shipped back out to you

All in all it takes around 2 weeks

Hi there,
GO on youtube and type in xbox 360 ring of deth fix.
You put 4 towels around your 360 and turn it on for about 20 mins, take the towels off then restart your xbox, then it should be fine. Basically all it does is overheat your xbox till an extent that it will reset its internal memory.

Steve, on a 13mm rotor vs. a std sintered rotor should I go up a tooth or two on the pinion?

Steve,

(non novak ?)

Is running 30wt shock oil in 2 hole pistons with 1.2mm holes,
similar to running 45wt oil with 3 hole 1.1mm holes.

thanks...

Looped,

I usually gear up two teeth on the pinion in 64 pitch when I used the 13 mm rotor

hey Losi,

Non novak questions are fine by me... that's how this thread started out anyways

While 30wt w/ 2x1.2 may feel like 4.5 w/3x1.1's when moving the pistion in and out slowly, they will have different dampening characteristics if you move them faster and in the car.

The smaller the total pistion hole area, the 2x1.2 pistion, will have more pack, or more high speed dampening than the 3x1.1

This usually translates to less weight transfer when running in the car...less body roll from side to side and front to back.

It really depends on what track conditions are like...but generally more pack is better for high traction situations and less pack is better for lower traction surfaces.

I have a GTB/SS13.5 setup. If I get a Novak motor heat sink, it says that you can mount a 25mm fan on the fins. Where do you plug the fan in? There is only one set of fan pins on the ESC, which the ESC fan is plugged into, so how do you use another fan?

I am new to brushless, so another question. I have installed my GTB/SS13.5 into my new Tamiya TRF416, and the car weighs 1550g without transponder. Are brushless setups heavier than a brushed setup?

Hey Miccal,

You can just splice the fan wires into the ESC fan wires... or you can plug the motor fan wires into an extra space in the receiver to run off the BEC.

Also,

A brushless setup is generally heavier than a brushed setup by a good amount.

Thanks Steve. I have a Futaba R303FHS receiver, and there is a slot labeled "B/C", is that what you mean by BEC? Is that where I plug it in?

You can generally plug the fan into ANY open slot in your receiver.
