Hehe you are getting me confused with my German Friend Steven Weiss!

Strange as it may seem there's another racer out there with the same name as I... But I was here first... I am older than he is so...

Mitch,

Just shim the output shaft side... If you shim from the other side the sensor response can be tripped up a bit.

Hi Steve I have a question on Novak's brushless motor replacement program. If I read the info on the website correctly you can send in a defective motor that is out of warranty and for $45 get a remand motor. The question is will the remand motor have the sintered rotor or a bonded one? I have a SS5800 that the harness end is loose and will not run correctly and would like to exchange it for a new 10.5.

Thanks

Well if you exchange it for the 10.5 Pro it will definately come with the sintered rotor!

hi steve,

my friend got himself a GTX from his friend,

he use tamiya style plug from battery to the esc, running 23t motor,

here the problem, after a few pack of battery , his esc got some smell,

is the esc over heating due to the resistant of the plugs?

cos other car using dean plug with that ratio got no problem..

Ed,

Tamiya connectors are natoriously bad connectors... the resistance of the plug may be causing extra heating/resistance which might cause the ESC problems... another problem that might be occuring is that the tamiya plugs often time connect and reconnect intermittantly... and this can cause problems as well.

I would recommend that this friend changes to deans plugs and sees if the problem goes away!

If I was ever an underwear model it would have had to have been for a big/tall underwear designer

As far as going to Wisconsin for the Novak race... I always seem to get overlooked for that one... maybe if I had a job at Novak I'd get to go to the Novak race sometime?
