Can you please tell me a good starting point for fdr on a 10.5 with a sintered rotor to be run on a 100'x50' carpet track. (rubber tires)

Thank you, I'll hang up and listen for your response

Hey Josh,

Usually I recommend to people to start out at a 5.5 FDR... but it seems that alot of people end up running higher than that... usually in the 5.3-4.9 range.

Cookie,

It's hard to say... I'm sure we'll get around to testing something like that sooner or later... because I'm sure at some point someone will try it themselves.... but I can't give you any sort of idea as to how well it will work.

Thanks..time will tell....

ok on a separate note I want to get my gtx to be more of a switch for stock 1/12th racing...I have moved from profile 1 to profile 7. I am running the lowest drive freg. with highest minimum drive allowed. I have set my 3pk's throttle expo to 100%. Any other suggestions?

I would probably start out around 5.5 and go from there. Carefully monitor your temperatures and make sure that the motor stays under 170 degrees F.

what is the difference between a 3.5R motor and a 3.5T motor?? is it to do with the winding pattern?

Technically there is no "3.5T" ... I think you might have seen it simply because it'd be a condensed version of "3.5 Turn".

There are two different styles now... the "standard" or "R" suffixed winds.. and the "Light" or "L" suffixed winds.

The "L's" use smaller gauge wire
