He has been through region 9 as well. And evidently he stayed here awhile and started a few small towns.

I thought the use of the word "gooch" and any of its iterations was banned from this thread......

Stupid question coming up but have to ask.............. and yes its not on the Snowbirds thread, but then most of the guys posting here race BCR and OCC

I race BCR and OC Circuit weekly and am tempted (if I can find my "hidden" talent ) to go to the 08 Snowbirds to run stock TC rubber. The problem that I have is that the guys that run in SoCal are friggen awsome Dennis "Cool hand" Lyman, Taka, Bob Hayes, Craig et al and Im just not sure how I would really stack up against an entire field of guys like these, well I am sure that I would finish dead last but is that the level of most of the drivers at the Snowbirds?

Well I am not Steve,
But I know that the compitition is pretty feirce at the larger events.
If you can keep up with the likes of Jason E, Tony (bigg rigg), Alan H and those guys in Stock, you will fair very well.
I personally would go to IIC in Vegas to try out your skill, Shorter distance and it will give ya an idea where you stack up before shipping you and your gear all the way to florida...Unless you already going to be there...

But you'll never know unless you try.
Get lots of practice at BCR on the rug before either event.
Hope that helps.....

Hey Steve,
How fast does a fart move? both with or without obstruction.....
Seems the wife thinks its too fast either way..

Thanks for the feedback Shookie,

I am actually moving back to Jersey in 3 weeks, gonna miss the weather and the fact that the track wont be 20 mins from the house

Will be racing at Jackson and Horesham with Schreffler, Fairtrace, et al so hopefully will be able to get some help from those guys.

E man and Alan H run 19t and mod so little difficult for me to keep up with them

I have to say the folks here in SoCal have been really helpful Ron, E Man, Dennis Lyman, Craig, Calvin, Hiro, Taka, Hewitt you guys are great

Like mentioned if you can run with Erchrachtor, Schreffler, etc you will be ok... those guys are of course the "cream of the crop" and there are plenty of people who attend and race these big races who are not as talented and still have a great time racing...

So I guess what I'm saying is that you shouldn't be so afraid of going... there will more than likely be other people racing of your skill level and you'll all end up racing each other at the end

Billy,

All the sensored brushless motors currently available are compatible with the GTB:

LRP

Feigao (Orion, GM, Checkpoint, Etc)

...and of course our motors are optimized for use with the GTB
