Any truth to the stuff being sprouted on another forum that you shouldn't set your EPA to less than 100% to slow down a brushless motor with GTB as it will overheat the speedy??

Hey Capel,

We've had some of our off-road team guys running less than 100% on their EPA without any major problems...they have reported that it runs a little hotter than it normally would... so I don't really think I'd recommend running a motor like a 3.5R and turning the EPA waaaaaaay down so that it's more like a 10.5 or something...

I generally recommend running the correct motor for the application for the best over-all performance.
