I'm not worried about my arm I think it's ok... besides if it heals funny then I have a good story about why there's a Z-bend in my arm.

Donny-- That sounds like a challenge to me

sedan setup question for you - when setting down travel (droop), is it a good or bad thing if the arm travels far enough that the spring loses tension? i.e. do you set your ride height, then only allow enough down travel that the springs are at maximum extension or do you set your droop independant of spring travel?

thanks in advance

garrett:

First you must attain a cool jacket.

Secondly, you must retain a cool nickname for yourself. Something better than "slim" or "ace"

Thirdly, you must subtley ellude to your massively engorged intellect conservatively... you do not want everyone envious of your endowments!

Fourthly, you must come up with your additional rules of being cool.

Gee-dub

I would say that having enough droop that your springs lose tension is not good thing...

Generally speaking I have never really seen a setup that uses more than 6 mm of uptravel from ride height (on rubber tires) ...even that would be pretty excessive....

Having too much droop can really make your car do funny things... in fact too much of anything can make your car do funny things...

Think of it like goldilocks and the 3 bears... one value is too big...one too small...and one is just right

As far as where to start your droop out at ... I'd say 4-5 mm of uptravel from ride height front and rear would be a good place to start.

Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions!
