You definately don't want to leave IB cells in any sort of discharger that discharges the cells below 0.9V per cell being as this can have a drastic negative impact on the cell's performance!

As far as gearing goes... I've pretty much never gone taller than 5.5... it becomes increasingly difficult to get larger pinion gears/smaller spur gears together

I've heard some people gearing as tall as 5.2... but never to 5.0.

I made the mistake of putting my IB's on a zero 30 and walking off. That was a no no. They went from charging 3900 to 4400mah to barely getting 3000mah. I let them set with some charge in them for about a month and they came back to their old selves.

That was with the 13.5 turn motor, not the 4300... I will check with charlie to see what they all geared to be sure of that application though

is the 13.5 Brushless comparable to a stock motor? If so should'nt a good Brushed stock motor be geared like in the 7's?

it's pretty close to a stock motor... but the power bands are just different between brushed/brushless...

oh just a general FYI for everyone...

I'm taking a class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6-8 PM...so this means I won't be running at socal on those days for the next 16 weeks or so

Hopefully I'll be able to get down there on some Monday's and Saturdays though!

Hey Edgar...don't forget to give me my motor back!!!
