"Right" is very subjective... I'm sure that to some people it is correct, but to some it's wrong. Perhaps there needs to be an updated "non-21st Century Politally Correct" version?

I'm just not a fan of the re-released version. Just seems so wrong. Dirty even LOL

If they're going to monkey with it, show us the deleted scenes that took 6 up to an "R" rating. Would it have been the violence or something else?

Default N-Power

OK Steve--a bona fide tech question.

Just picked up two N-Power supplies. Turn one on and the fan turns on and runs continuously. Turn the other on and no fan. Both connected to (and power up) a Millennium Pro charger but I haven't attempted a charge yet.

Which one is working correctly and which one is not?

Many thanks,

Scottrik

To answer your question optomistically, they both might be!

If they are both brand new then one might have an issue...

but if they were used....The one where the fan is running constantly is probably one of the very first Npowers produced where the fan turning on and off was not controlled by the temperature of the power supply... Newer units have built in temperature sensing and when the temp gets too high, the fan turns on...

Bought both second hand "lightly used". Any way to determine if they're pre- or post-cutoff? Serial number, distinguishing markings, etc?

Many thanks,

Scottrik

I'll check tomorrow to see if there's any easily distinguishable way to tell them apart... I am off for the day and can't check right now...

Jeff, I'm actually going to the RROC Thailand. My Dad is from there so I've visited and have been looking forward to racing there sometime. So I put in for some time off to try to make it a vacation. Due to the Brushless Race, Novak is helping out and I'll be Novak Rep as well. Should be fun. Come say hi, If you're running the brushless class and need to borrow a system, let me know. Send me an Email, I can bring you an extra one.

Also, in case anyone forgot, I love the Internet.
I don't know if I will race. I did not sign up for the US race and it seemed so much fun I regreted it. However, just thinking about all the stuff I have to haul to Bangkok (and within Bangkok) is giving me a headache.

I hope Novak will send you and Steve both.

N-Power Fan.
From the outside it's a bit tricky to see, but there is an additional small circuit baord with smaller awg leads going to it. This is the temp sensing device and it connects to the fan. You can kind of see it throug the top of the N-Power.

Thanks.

Default Thanks Steve and Charlie

It's service/assistance of this nature that made me loyal to Novak products when I raced '86-92 and as I'm getting back into racing today!!

GO ORANGE!

How do I put it in the show this weekend at the Halloween Classic? Seems easy enough to say-but oh sooooo hard to actually do-any advise?

OH-wait-I know-pay all but 9 other drivers to qualify behind me....

Hmmm-I wonder what that would cost?
