Hey Howard

This little boy was hoping for a $ 100.00, or did you send it to D.C. first?

Hey Guys!

No, not in Cleveland!

Just in AZ spending some time with the family!

I should be back sometime later this weekend... probably not in time to race anywhere...but there's always next week

Default Gyro for racing

I know some drifters use a gyros and HPI includes one in one of their drift kits.

I know they are not ROAR legal.

Do you know anyone who has played with a gyro?
What would happen if you setup the car with a lot of oversteer and charged the corners with more speed than normal and just let the gyro take care of the tail end loosing traction and spinning out.

[NOTE: I am not thinking so much of elite drivers using this but more like club drivers who might like me have a tough time getting the amount of throttle right on the tight corners.]

GM had an ESC that had a gyro in it or something...

I never ran it or saw how well it worked or didn't work...

Some people said it seemed to work pretty well... but I think it would fall under the catagory of "driver's aid" and would be frowned upon...

But theoretically it would do what you are asking of it...maybe it's time for someone to revisit the idea?
