How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a
whole box to start a campfire?

Probably because you get so pissed that you can't get your campfire started that you start kicking the "used" matches around and odds are there's better kindling around the campfire site than in the fire pit itself (hell, it probably got burned up already by someone else!)

Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there? I'm gonna

It was actually a tie between James Jefferson of Alabama and Thomas Pimpleton III of South Carolina. Experts estimate that that exact phrase was uttered by them both at 8:13 AM on the morning of March 9th, 1823.

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world
is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet Soup?

You could ask a few illiterates that we know if it means anything to them... but I would have to go out on a limb and say NO!

IT seems like no one cares for this thread anymore

That's because "laser" is one of those words that you can add to the name of just about any product or service and it will immediately increase sales by at least 20%. Take for instance some of these examples:

Gerber's Laser-Sliced Peach Baby Food

Otter Popp's Laser Popsicles

Mr. Miyagi's Laser-Style Karate

Huggie's Laser Toilet Paper

But wouldn't that be Gerber's slightly cooked Laser-Sliced Peaches Baby Food due to the fact that the extreme heat would also partially saitee` the peaches?

LOL....
Good point though....

Casio Laser-Fast stopwatches....

Now if only Novak could use this marketing tool to get there new charger to market....LASER FAST....hehehehe just teasing Stevil..

Steve, I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to answer that.
Jon, you did not hatch from an egg, you started out as a group of cells. All things being equal, chickens probably started out as a group of cells too, which probably grew into a chicken, not an egg, because chickens lay eggs. I don't believe the initial group of cells could have formed an egg shell, there would be no reason for it. But hey, I could be wrong. Let the games begin...
