1. I tried practicing yesterday at local track. They only maintian the track (sweep and VHT) on race day, so the track was very dusty, traction was very bad. I got the feeling I was almost wasting my time because I could not really run anywhere near race speed. I was able to test some different gearing and motor temps. I ran a lot of laps hopefully that helps my brain, eye, hand co-ordination. Am I right in assuming that practicing on a slippery surface(or a surface with significantly different traction) is not particularly helpful?

2. Without a real dyno or being skilled enough to turn very consistent lap times is there a way of accurately tuning an electric motor without that kind of feedback?

It might be very time consuming, but you might want to try to do the brunt of your testing under race conditions...that way you don't have to waste your valuble time and resources durring conditions that you will likely never see on a race day.

Steve, have you picked up your white sequence jump suit and gold sun glasses for the Elvis show you promised us?

white sequence..... that's the best line I've read all day.

Thanks Jon. I feel so much better now.

At first I was mad, I was thinking of skuba all dressed up, then I saw white sequence, and I pictured him getting proccessed into something white. Now I feel better.

Steve, If the chicken plays an important part in bacon & eggs, would it be safe to assume that the pig is fully committed?

The word of the month is "Righteous". The phrase for the Vegas week will be "Righteous like a mug" hence (My car is righteous like a mug.)

Hey Espo, how about we BOTH get Elvis outfits for Vegas...? We could do a whole young/old Elvis duo or something?

That would be righteous like a mug!
