I use Motip brake cleaner after every run.
Used other brands but had some bad experience with them.
Let them dry and the apply LRP tire sauce.
Put i little piece of cloth on it and warm them up to 60.
This i do for every run.
When storing the tires, i clean them with brake cleaner again and then put on tire sauce and wrap them in householdfoil.
This stays on until i go racing again.
It keeps the tires fresh even after a long period of not using them.

Don't know what is in it
I know it works
That is enough for me
Check link http://www.motip.com/?page=23&id=745
Perhaps you can find something interesting on the data sheets.
I use it for almost everything i have to degrease or clean.
Like bearings, inlet manifolds, carburators and so on.
It isn't agressive for rubber, otherwise it would damage your dustcaps on the brake calipers or brake cilinders and that is what it is used for in the first place.

Hey Phil,
Check the data sheet..
It won't leave any residu so no grease or anything.
Never had that here that the tires where left greasy after using Motip.
I also use the break cleaner from CRC and that one has a strange smell on it like a strong cleaning fluid.
If you use the CRC your tires have a light white coat on it.

I work at Landrover , so we have it for the guarantee claims , we can only claim for genuine parts on guarantee so we have it but never use it
If you ask them to order it then they can get it BUT it comes in boxes of 12 and they are quite expesnsive
