Default hpi sprint 2 discontuinue

is this true?
im looking to buy a new car to do some drifting then when winter hits again to do some vta or stock racing but dont want to buy a car thats going to be discontuinue
how does sprint 2 keep up with other tc cars?

how ever i did notice that tower hobbies has a ton of hpi sprint parts on order?
thanks on any info

bro dont buy it.unless u r running on carpet or super clean asphalt(no little rocks). i bought one the rear belt starts to wear so fast cuz the debris.
