Nope. The silvery tape on the receiver is being marketed and sold as an anti-glitch solution. I can't really remember the Japanese brand but I used it before, just to prevent glitching. I didn't glitch before though.

I don't think that it is the same!
Tekin reciever had silver housing, that silver on the reciever is something like/is aluminum foil!!

well i think both are to prevent glitching from the shielding.

LRP has it for thier phaser too...in blue though

Kenneth: Yes, the esc on Hara 1/12 is the new Hara Twister based on the VFS-1, itchy to get one har?
