How much is that timing is degrees?

I think 3mm to 4mm is around 9*-12* of timing.

That's the way I know it too.

If you go by endbell notches on conventional motors each notch is 12 degrees or 4mm.

So, sorry, but my last report from Japan.

Congratulations go to Masami who won all 3 finals the way he won the heats. No one was going to beat him here. Hara in 2nd, Kiura 3rd. Not more news, I hope you enjoyed it, and if any questions, will answer them when back coming Thursday.

Sayonara,
Oscar

It is great to have a legend like Oscar Jansen here.

Who was mechanic for Masami's car? I believe his Papa was retired.

I hope I am allowed to ask my questions here. I have been out of the rc-scene for a while and came back about 2 years ago and fell into the touring car scene. Was told that 1/12 died. I do know that way back then Corally was always amongst the top drivers. What happened? And, personally... sanyo has some major catching up to do with GP so that top drivers are using the sanyo 3600 is more like a promotional / advertising thing then structurally being a faster battery then the GP3300.. (my opinion)

Some of that stuff just looks mad, stuff you never see in Europe, at least not in the UK anyway

I like Hara's centre shock

spf 45 is the stuff you need for asphalt.
The main reason for using it it has a reaction with the foam rubber and softens it up. The correct way is to work the suntan lotion in 25 minutes before the race and let it sit. 10 minutes before without wiping of the lotion apply the parragon. Then before going on track wipe the tires of and if using a white towel you will see all of the junk come off.

Another old school trick to clean the tires is goop hand cleaner with out pumice!!!
the petroulium cleans and softens the foam. Note that suntan lotion contains aloe and some petroleoum disolites and is why it works!

Does anyone know where you can purchase the HARA esc? Or is that the same one as the new KO esc?
