Diode dilemma......(a quick question)....
Ok I've stuffed up and cut the wires of the schottky for my new esc to short and I need to know if the spare I found (from an older esc) will do or if I should get the same as the one I stuffed?
The one I cut to short is rated 5 amps and 40 volts and the spare I found is rated at 60 volts other specs are slightly different also(see included picture).
The esc is a Nosram Dominator which I will be using in 540 stock class with 1500 mah packs so I hope the diode I have will do because getting another the same as the original will not be easy locally.
The one I cut is the 504 on the chart, the spare I found is the 506.
