tou should buy the best car that your lhs supports which in most cases is what is at the local track so whatever is the most populer at your track is what you should get unles its a bmi tc3 cos you have that allready

I buy most of stuff online, so what my LHS carries doesn't really matter, although they do carry parts for all those cars. I basically just wanted to know if I went with a belt car, like the Xray, if my acceleration would suffer a noticeable amount.

and if you want something different go for a belt driven cer between belt and shaft belt is more populer i think or you could get the new evo 4

im not sure on how mutch the accel whoud change cos ive never driven a decent shaft car and i buy most of mine of the net not at lhs cos its faster from the states iacctually have 4 lhs that i can go to

I like the T1R, and if I get that I plan on getting the low ratio pulleys and the spring steel layshaft for it. Anything else?

one way diff/hollow layshaft some front shafts cos thay tend to bend/and some spare steering blocks and c hubs if you dont care about waight get the alu sterring blocks and c hubs and then if you want to get the waight of try the carbon top deck and shock towers

the mods ive done from standard T1R blue bumper/front 1 way/alu stering blocks/alu c hubs/front stablizer/i use a novak dually esc and a futaba 3pk radio a hitec hs-5625 servo and epic monster metal batts and i use a trinity monster pro/peak hellfire and i can compete very comfortably with t1 factory kit driving sponsored drivers and its all the car im telling you its so sick i couldent be where im at without it i dought that my ta04 whould get me where i am now and the T1R is mutch stronger than a t1 or eqivilant

i also kneed to fix mine up for the next race season i plan to get the hollow layshaft/carbon top deck/carbon shocktowers/roll centre bridge/sping steel hex thingeys/stronger driveshafts of somesort/spool/and thats about it thats also on top of a hudy tire truer a lrp pulsar comp hudy setup system new bodie from stik in singapore

i believe losirob is correct, i dont have 1.77 pulleys but i do know that you need a different layshaft to use those pulleys and i do believe it is the aluminium one. My friend had the same problem and bought the layshaft that come with the FK kit which comes with 1.77 pulleys.
