What is the difference/ advantage?

I believe the bigger each pulley is the smooth and more efficient. As the belt doesn't have to bend as much.

So this would give a better speed and better run time but you wouldn't notice it unless your chancing .1 on a run.

IMO the photon drive line is the best of all the cars I have owned
