Default Looking for a good 1/10 TC ENTRY level kit for Carpet.

Totally new to Carpet and TC in general. Not really looking for a kit that has 1,735,498 different adjustments. Just looking to throw my left over Reedy 3300kv setup in it and have something to do when the winter sets in.

Try a TC5 from Team Associated, $199 shipped from their web site.

Another option is the Sakura Zero, from 3racing. It can be found for around $99 at a few different online hobby shops.

Find a nice xray 007. They can be had at 125 to 150 with extra's most of the time. Plus exotek makes a nice lipo chassis for the car if you wanted to upgrade it.

The Sakura Zero S looks very promising. What would be a decent fairly light weight esc to run with my Reedy?

Default Sakura

I can vouch for the Sakura and ordering from tqrcracing.net They are awesome. Ordered it and get to on the east coast 3 days later. Easy to build, great parts quality, and relatively compatable with all the major touring cars out there, parts from Xray and Tamiya are direct replacements.

As for a lightweight brushless ESC, for 17.5spec, you can't go wrong with a Hobbywing XERun Justock for $65 on Hobbypartz. I run them in most of my cars. I also love the Tekin RS and the RS pros and I use em in some of my cars, but $175 vs $65 for racing spec, I can take that extra $110 and put it towards beer money....I mean track time lol.

Here is a quick review of TQRCracing.net
