Knew someone who was running that in VTA as well, the car was fantastic, he regrets getting rid of it now.

I'm back to rocking the Pro-2 in VTA, and a Pro-4 with the V2 Exotek chassis in USGT.

Wasn't the RDX the car that mounted the rear shocks in front of the arm instead of the back? That was pretty cool.

Yep! Lower polar moment of inertia. It really is a cool car. I wish they'd have come out with something better than the HMX. Not much else on the market had fit and finish as good as the Phi, nor does today.

The RDX was a car I loved but hated working on lol. Had sponsorship from Corally USA/Superior Hobbies/Specialized RC back in those days and honestly it had a "feel" that really fit my driving style. I ran it at basically every track in the state with very minimal changes and it was always fast!

Back in the day some guys around here had the Roadrunner Xpress and when it was dailed in, it was hard to beat. Always wanted one.....very sweet at the time.

I agree with the sketchy fit and finish in a lot of kits, but these are RC cars, not hundred million dollar aircraft.

Generally the Awesomatix has good fit. I wanted to get one but I don't race touring car enough to justify it, so I will keep rocking my ancient Losi and mess with racers heads when they see how fast a nine year old car is.

I dont know about Bertie, but at a glance I can see a big difference between my Losi, my DC4 LE, and an Awesomatix A800 that I want to buy.

Aren't those things kind of terrible in every way? If you're a good driver you can make anything look pretty good but why a TL01? It's made of the same stuff as Tamiya Mini's.

I still remember your TL01 race vid from a few years back
Ive had a few TL01's, but just to chop them into minis.
I still have a complete , never built TL01 (LA) .
