I love it.

We run XX pinks and Pink/orange

Makes me happy.

EDIT: I didn't really notice before, but man you can tell where the orange ends and the pink begins on the front tires..

Hi guys, I'm hoping to be running a Tamiya TB Evo III in the new year in 21.5 running a speed passion blinky speedy, in a club setting.
At least there still is a stock of parts still available on Ebay from the TB-02 series though some are difficult to find
just a question, would a shorty LIPO affect this cars handling greatly?

Interesting to see this thread, I'm thinking about picking up an HPI RS4 Pro 2 in great condition; however, not for competition, just for fun. What have you guys experienced with spare parts for this, IF something broke?

I have had the car so long that I have a ton of extra parts. Over the many years. Plus I just keep a eye out.

In your case, just keep a eye out on the forum and try to find another roller for cheap, and of course there is always fleabay

I've seen a few parts on ebay, mostly the control arms. I'm not going to do competitions, it's just for fun at the outdoor hockey rink mostly. I like to push rc cars to the limit, but I'm careful and skilled with controlling it.

One thing I haven't seen a lot of on this sub or any other is people racing older Xray cars. Is that because nobody races them or do they hang out in their Xray only clubhouse?

You can't keep on racing xrays because there is no old parts support for them in the hobby shops... Xray is more for temporary owners, until the new one comes out... More like leasing Rc cars rather than owning them... It gets to be very costly....

Oh, good, I was waiting for an excuse to post this pic! Four XRay T1 chassis (complete with pivot ball suspension!), four first place season trophies from our 2014 series in Topeka: 17.5 TC, USGT, USVTA, and our local NasTruck class:

gwc likes this.

I've been running these T1 chassis on a small budget for a very long time. Belts, diffs (including gear), and bumpers are still available. The only other thing that breaks very often are the front uprights, but the uprights from the NT1 (nitro sedan) are still available, and only take a few shims to make them fit.

Can I request a picture without the lexan? I'm curious how you have the cars laid out.
