Default Tamiya transpeed

I know these are just a rebranded lrp x12 but is there really no difference between the 2? Also would the hobbywing xerun 120a esc be good enough to run either of aformentioned motors and would I still be able to use the program card as there not hobbywing motors sorry for the newbie questions but I'm only just getting into brushless!

They are the exact same motors, and the Xerun 120 is an excellent speed controller for almost any brushless motor
Doesn't matter what motor you have for the programme card either.

The Tamiya Transpeed Brushless is a rebranded LRP X12 but with 12mm rotor instead of 12.5mm rotor. It should have higher rpm but less torque.

See http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...ed-motors.html

It is recommended for on-road racing.

I use a 60A xerun hobbywing with a transpeed 8.5t motor in my Tamiya Avante 2011. Lots of torque and high speed, Great combo!
