Default In need of a new diff...

Just like the title says, I need a new diff.

The car in question is a Tech Racing FWD M chassis CF-R. An unusual car to start with. The car itself is brilliant, the diff the car comes with is crap beyond all belief. No matter what we do to it, it slips....

Ok thought I, replace it with something else! Problem is, what else might fit? Hence the question. Here's a pic guys, with some basic measurements. Perhaps theres something else out there that's close?...

What part is slipping. The balls on the plates, the plates on the outdrives?... I don't own that car but seems odd becouse Tech make really good stuff. Diff screw to long? What I would do is scuff the plates (600 grit) double side tape them with thin tape on the oudrives. This will also make the diff a little wider and this will help with tightening it.

My Atlas Beat has a slipping rear ball diff as well. I was seriously considering locking it. Or swapping for something that worked.

Has the Tech Racing got thrust bearings installed . My car had them in the manual but not actually in the diff (although they didnt help when I put them in )
