Default Bashing TT-01, motor/esc for my kiddo?

I'm kind of new to this, but this is for my 5 year old to beat around on in the parking lot. I was thinking of a Castle Sv2 w/ 4600 combo in training mode? It can be had for about $100. I know it's probably too much for him but I would like brushless. Is that crazy?

sorta, haha. the flexibility of the CC ESC makes it not so crazy. something to consider is people unload decent running gear from RTRs all the time that are still good items, just not suitable for their use - maybe peruse the classifieds for a while if you aren't in a rush.
