Default Best body for carpet-racing?

What body do you recommend for touring-car carpet racing?

Thanks!

Hi IH
Maybe you should say for carpet racing with rubber tires.
Other guys maybe donīt know we have no racing with foam tires here.

For me I like the Stratus 2 the most. At least with the EVO3. Maybe this weekend I will have the first practice with my 415 on carpet.

Thumbs up Parma Alpha

In my opinion, the best body for Touring Cars on Carpet is the Parma Alpha.

It had a pretty good showing at the '04 Carpet Nats!!

i prefer the protoform escalade. but the weird thing is that my car tends to traction roll more frequently. i don't believe that it's related.

I have never run rubber tires on carpet, using foams I would say the Parma Alpha and the Proto Alpha 2.0 are very good. I like them both over the Mazda.

Alot of your choice will depend on your driving style. I have used 3 different bodies racing rubber tires on carpet here are my thoughts on all of them.

stratus 2.0 - very balanced good steering with alot of rear downforce for a stable straightaway feel

Losi Alpha - More front downforce, felt great in the corners but a little loose coming in corners

Mazda 6 - All steering alot of front downforce, hardest to drive of all but very fast if the car wasnt too loose to control.

my .02
