thanks ray!

As far as my cars whieght with the reciver pack it tips the scale at 30.2 ounces with a regular speed body. Pluss on asphalt we run taller tires( 185 fronts and 190 rears)
I know I ran 175 and 185 rears with a lite wheight body it would be close to 28 ounces and may even have to add some.

Default Setup?

I just ordered a Q12, and had some questions on the setup. I will be running 1/12 Mod 4Cell on a small tight track(80x40) Questions I have are:

Front end new or old?
What weight shock oil and spring?
What weight oil in the dampening tubes?

I am very excited to get my Q12 cant wait to race it in our up coming NW Champion Ship Series. Any tips or tricks you can let me know that will help me out I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Mike Street

Here is my base set up for mod.

new front end
2 degrees of caster, 1.5 camber
.020 springs
Jaco double pink tires with 1/3 inside sauced

.074 t-plate (no thicker than .075)
Losi med. hydra fluid in the tubes
Jaco pink rears with full sauce

3.25mm ride height

parma speed 8 body

The real set up is in the small details, but this should get you started.

That set up should be good for stock too. I would just switch to purple and grey tires.

speedxl--can you post you tire saucing rutine for me. I still had some grip issues and couldn't fully remember what you had told me today.

Aplly the spf45 lotion on the tires 20 minutes before. At 10 before without wiping lotion off add tire additive of your choice. then wipe off before running !
set it and forget it!
