Default need help regarding fs-gt3b

i just got my tt-01D and fs-gt3b, followed all the instructions, but i cant get the controller to work with the car.. Do i have to do matching, i.e. using the matching line? because the LED light on my receiver doesnt even light up. Or do i have to set the controller to a specific channel?

Default Binding an FS-GTB3

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YcW54tZZJ8

At about 2:40 he starts talking about the binding process but it should come out of the box with the first receiver already bound to to the transmitter.

If your electronic speed controller has a BEC (and I can't think of one that doesn't) then the receiver should power on when you have a charged battery connected to the ESC, the ESC is powered on and plugged into the receiver.
