Hi Neil,

No, it was a friend of ours, but this is the friend who introduced my wife to me, so it was important that I attend

It looks like it's going to be a tight grid for the national if this past regional was sign of things to come.

Default steve, I have a few questions.

Are the SSG shock towers for the XXX-S 3mm thick?
Are one set of tierod locations the same as the stock tower?

Can you recommend a shock shaft length more sutibale for bumpy parking lots? My rear shocks require the shock collar all the way down to get 5mm of ride height.

Do you carry shock socks for Losi XXX-S. I have seen them for offroad and I would like to get a set.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Nightbreed,

Yes, they are 3mm thick, and I believe there is one set (I can't remember if it is top or bottom) that is the same as stock holes.

As for as recommended shock lenghts and ride height you might want to check with the guys over at the XXX-S thread or check in the Todd Hodge thread as I'm not too familiar with the XXX-S

As for the shock socks, I'm sorry, we do not have those in stock.

Hey Neil,

F1RL should start in August (with a warm up race) and round 1 will start in September. I think I'm going to implement a few changes this year (letting the pros run 19T and maybe even have spec tires)

I'm also going to increase the length of the series, and give you guys more break in between rounds. I think the feedback from last season was it was some what rushed. I think this season will go two rounds in a row, and a 1 week break and then two rounds and so on.

Let me know if you guys have any other suggestions, also, check if you got the last newsletter from us.

Tentatively the locations are:

Norco track (by R/C Heat)
Revelation Raceway
Tamiya Track (I'll have to check with Fred first)
