I have no personal experience wiht HPI wheels but have been using Speedmind with excellent results.

Sorex is the tire of choice at my local track.

Mine is also Pit Schimizu. The only problem is that it is quite difficult to find them anymore. Second best Sorex.

Sorex, Take off and yokomo all make great tires. For concrete try a harder tire. Let's say sorex & take off 32 or higher. Depends on the temperature also. Concrete will rip up 27 or less pretty quick.

I run the schmacher btcc over here in england and we have to use sorex 28r for all conditions (wet, dry, cold, very hot), and they are quiet a good all round tyre (driving in the wet is hard with slicks but you get used to it ), it seem like it's an easy tyre to get over in the usa like england which is a good point as well

Sorex or take-offs are the easiest to use and setup with. They also work very well. For ultimate grip, try some pits. They are far a far less stable tyre than the others but provides much better grip. Once you are comfortable with the others... give em a go.
