Id' suggest finding the fastest TC3 on your track and asking them for their settings, it would be the easiest way to find a good ball park for your particular track.

I run carpet myself on a tight track, my car is reasonably dialed in and it's ..

front ..

springs: red
shocks: middle hole
camber: 1 degree negative
caster : 2 degree negative
toe: out 1 degree
camber link: bottom inner hole

rear ..

springs: blue
shocks: middle hole
camber: 1 degree negative
toe: in 3 degrees
camber link: bottom inner hole / inner on hub
wheel base: medium

shock oil is 40wt all around.

I use associated springs/oil.

My diffs are semi tight, from loose to tight I'd say they are "half way."

BO DUKE.

I suspect you have your terms mixed up.

If you have 2 degrees toe out in front I'm not surprised your car doesn't handle. Same with caster. Use the 4 degree blocks up front and level out the rear.

We don't run on carpet often, but settings like toe, camber and caster shouldn't be much different. Just go hard on springing and damping, and run less droop.

The TC3 is probably the most popular, and definately the most successful touring car to date, so you shouldn't have much of a problem finding someone to help you with a good set up that works at your track.

Good luck.

seriously man i used to run this setup and i like the new on (the first one I posted) better

front
4 deg carrier f2 block
white spring #3 pistion 80wt
shock out on the tower in on the arm
1.5 camber 0 toe
camber links up and in
.063 bar
6mm droop

batteries rear

rear
2+0 block
purple rear #3 pistion 70 wt
shock out on the tower out on the arm
1.5 camber
links up and in
4 droop

i ran the protoform status 2.0
trc plaid front purple rear

this set up was realy easy to drive but it was hard to go fast

like I said the other set up the car is still easy to drive but lap times are faster.

I gotta laugh at this redneck.

I'm one of the "slow" ones. My first time out I was only 7 laps off the track record. Now the redneck doesn't go racing friday night. Go get a job you bum, then you might not have so much to bug these good helpful people.

regardless if im working or not is not the issue. im still faster than you! these people here are helping me and i appreciate it. the only help you need is letting someone else drive your car. oh yea this is also a serious matter and would appreciate you keeping your sarcasim to yourself.

Typical redneck,

too dumb to not be able to tell sarcasim from true fact. The fact of the matter is this, It's just like anything else you, you always try to take the easy way out. You won't spend the time on the track practicing and learning how to set up your car, but you'll spend 5+ hours on the net, on 6 different message boards asking the same questions over and over. Then you bring your motors to me, for me to do the work of making you fast, then you hit the boards again and bash me for being slow.

The real facts are this:

Bo Duke raced a 2wd truck class my 10 year old beat him.

Bo Duke raced a nascar class, my 10 year old beat him.

Bo Duke raced a clod buster class, my 10 year old beat him.

Now I guess my 10 year old is going to have to do it again.

THE FACTS:

Bo Duke is a slow, poor loser, that changes classes anytime he gets beat.

so your saying that your 10 year old has beaten me . true . ive beaten him also! so it really comes down to this me and your kid are on the same level and you hate the fact that he is faster than you . im man enough to admit that im not always the fastest on the track and i do try to get help off the net, thats why its here. coming on someones thread and getting off the point is just disrespectful. also you offered to help with my motor if you wanted something in return you should have said something instead of airing dirty laundry on here.

listen,

your name, "bo duke" says it all. Disrespectful, redneck, running from the law, non-working, lazy bum.

Always looking for what you can get for very liitle or no effort.

My point was this, you called me and my son slow, but yet we have both bet you.

If you want a set-up for our "normal" track, just ask. I can and will help. I have the knowledge. I too use the net, but not in the same manner as you. I don't ask people "how do I do this?" I go, read, read, read, and read some more. Till I have all of the knowledge.
