The evo kit should be back in stock around Friday. The tuning kit will be re released in a different variation sometime next month.

Good to know. I think the 6.1 is going to be my next car, so looking for traction options on low-med grip carpet.

Re-stock and new items arrived today.

Back in stock are the EVO Chassis sets, XRAY, TC6 and RSD6 battery hold downs.

Also in the next couple of days we will add to the site the new arrivals:
-Machined Delrin Pistons for T4 (3/6 hole and 4 hole)
-T4 Carpet Springs
-T4 Asphalt Springs
-T4 Bumper Brace
-T4 Full Lock Steering Stand Off
-TC6 Short Shock Tower Conversion Kit

My narrow dcjs are binding. Anyone have this problem? I followed the directions on the site. Both sides should rotate freely right?

They should not bind. There might be a part that is slightly out of spec or dmaged. Please send them back and we will issue a replacement.

Cristian,

I was reading your post in the Xray thread about your new springs. How many sets of each springs do you test before you list them on your spring chart, is it always 5 sets and then do you use an average for the result? Also do you use 5 sets of the other manufacturers springs as well? Hpi, Yokomo, etc. Just when I think I have it all figured out, the springs that I think I need are different

Well, ours we do as many as 10 sets, but in an effort to remain consistent we do an average of a total of 10 springs (5 pair).

We test the springs at 0.075, 0.125 and 0.250 inches of compression. This is most of the "usable" range of springs. We observe the behavior and average the value of these 3 numbers.

In the case of our new progressive springs, the number variation we were getting was so large, we decided to call them as they are "progressive", progressive springs.

Rates are something that should be used as a tool, but is never the end-all be-all. The feel is the most important thing about the spring. Lap times can be similar, but how comfortable a spring makes you when driving your car is very important. Many times 2 springs might give a similar or equal rating on our machine, but the feel of the spring on the track is very different.

Case and point is our Asphalt Green and Asphalt Silver. These 2 springs are nearly identical in rate. However, the Green is a spring with less coils and 1.4mm wire, the Silver has more coils and 1.5mm wire. The feel on the track, is completely different, but each spring has a nice quality about it in the neat to ideal spring rate range for the T4 on asphalt.
