Default Parts

Don't know about the other part, but I could set you up with a billet spool.

Could be your winning ticket

I'm very interested in a spool, would be interesting to see how it would go on low grip wooden floor.

Spooler,

Just want to let you know I didn't forget about you I'll be testing the spool this weekend and I'll let you know how it works. If it works good, I know guys in the states will be looking for them, especially before the reedy race!

Hi Guys,

Some of you have been asking and emailing about spare parts. We ordered all the spare and hop-ups...right down to the nuts and bolts. So spare parts should not be a problem

Also, the Alex Racing website is now up and running. As I mentioned before, this is going to be a simple site (honestly, I am your faithful webmaster ) so don't expect anything flashy, but I'm hoping to load it with tons of information!

www.alexracingusa.com

check it out and pass it around to your friends

Dave: Woww... you knew too much about us... No secrets! I really don't know whether our Local Importers will even import the R2! The one has R2 is the shop that I stated before... They 'hand-carried' them from Japan directly...

fai: You still run your Barracuda??I don't think any R2 will be imported as it is considered as a 'dead car' in HK.

Default Sand?

Do you still have to file and sand the battery slots on the Cuda before use? Or is this pretty much done for you that you only have to super glue it like the xrays?

Help me understand why would you say the R2 is a dead car? Is it being replaced with a new model...don't understand?

Thanks,

John

Hi Guys,

Alex Racing told us in our last conversation that the R1 is the car kit that most shop in HK carries (or at best, the early version of the R2). The R2 we are receiving is a brand new batch of cars, which is what they just started shipping to the Japanese market and other distributors. And as for availability of the car in HK, that is up to the distributor there to decide to bring it in. A lot of times if the distributor thinks they can't make enough profit on the car, then they won't bring it in which is a shame really...everything comes down to money The R2 is the latest car from Alex Racing which is just recently released around December of last year (3 months ago) so I really don't think there will be a new car anytime soon.

I had a customer came in yesterday (who frequently travles to HK and is currently distributing another car here in the US) told me this situation. He did leave a big pile of "drool" all over my Barracuda I think he must have said "Damn that's a nice car" about a dozen time before he left

Just to clarify, he means the chassis when he says IT. Certainly no anatomy, and definetly no sensitive anatomy

Make sure you clean that drool up Steve could cause some traction problems next time you race, or short out the cells

I don't think any car can be dead after just being a few months old, unless it's a certain HPI
